Industry Studies and Results

EPSI Rating is conducting studies in more than 20 European countries. In 2009, EPSI Rating completed over one million interviews with external and internal customers in Europe. EPSI Rating is analyzing both the business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) segments. The number of included industries varies from country to country. In Sweden more than 40 industries/sectors are covered by EPSI external customer surveys (covering over 75 percent of GDP).

In most countries, EPSI Rating covers the financial sector (banking and insurance), the ICT sector (tele- and data communication), energy, distribution and trade, personal transportation together with dominant socio-ethical sectors like education and health.

EPSI Rating also measures employee satisfaction in various industries across Europe. The number of industries covered also varies. In Sweden, EPSI Rating covers the entire economy. Combining the studies of both internal and external customers is very powerful. EPSI-initiated research shows that there is a strong correlation between employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction.

Consumer sentiment is also monitored by EPSI Rating. These studies reveal how the consumers perceive the overall economic future the next 12 months, and how they perceive their own future economic situation. These numbers are publicly published on a quarterly basis in many of the EPSI-countries. They are also utilized in order to assess the relationship between the perception of macro-economic phenomena and how individuals see the satisfaction with their respective providers.

Aggregated results are continuously published on the EPSI sites. To find results please click on one of the three categories in the left menu, and select a country of interest.
